An established fire safety consultancy with operations across the UK and Ireland is currently seeking experienced and motivated Senior Fire Engineers to expand its growing team. Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare fire strategy reports, fee proposals, and other documentation aligned with project needs.
  • Liaise with clients and design teams through meetings, phone calls, and written communications.
  • Undertake site visits, surveys, and inspections to assess and communicate fire safety strategies.
  • Analyse architectural designs to identify approval risks and opportunities to enhance fire strategy.
  • Perform evacuation modelling and means of escape calculations.
  • Support fire engineering analyses such as radiant heat impact and smoke control assessments.
  • Participate in peer reviews and design verifications.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in fire safety consultancy or engineering.
  • Membership with the Institution of Fire Engineers (AIFireE or MIFireE).
  • Sound knowledge of UK building regulations and key guidance documents (ADB, BS 9991, BS 9999).
  • Familiarity with fire engineering tools, modelling software, and project delivery processes.
