Leading London law firm are looking for an events executive to join their dynamic marketing and BD team to plan, organise, and execute all firm events to include social events, webinars, conferences, receptions, client dinners, networking events etc. This role will be offered as a 12-month contract and the core responsibility of this position will be to manage firm events efficiently, ensuring they stay within the allocated budget, align with key messages, and reflect the firm\’s brand.
Key duties:
- Planning and executing events to include: venue selection, contract negotiation, menu selection, RSVPs, list management, seating plans, logistics, audio visual components, onsite staffing, and post event follow-up and metrics
- Managing budgets, event schedules and agendas
- Drafting event communications, organizing data, files, and materials, compiling information, preparing reports
- Researching site venues, caterers and other vendors, and actively establishing and maintaining relationships
- Building a vendor list
- Evaluating and reporting on the success of events including lead generation, and other key ROI. Partner with the marketing and BD team to track and report trends over time, such as attendee data and more.
This is a well-established and highly regarded marketing and BD team, and they are looking for an events professional to deliver exceptional levels of service to the firm’s internal and external stakeholders.
It is essential that you have at least two years’ experience in a corporate events role; although a law firm is preferred, they are happy to see any events professional with experience in another corporate / professional services firm. You must be a strong communicator with exceptional organisational skills, and a good knowledge of London venues and vendors would also be highly beneficial.
