We are seeking a visionary Consultant Head of Creative for an international luxury childrenswear & lifestyle brand. This role is pivotal in shaping the creative direction of this iconic brand, ensuring that the brand vision is brought to life with precision and elegance.
The ideal candidate is a Design Consultant, Senior Designer or Head of Design, experienced in luxury early years, childrenswear ready-to-wear & accessories design. You will have relevant design expertise, great knowledge of luxury brand positioning, expertise in high-quality fabrics, and a passion for storytelling through design. We are looking for someone who has a subtle & contemporary luxury aesthetic, to work closely with the Business owners & CEO, to design, evolve and broaden the seasonal product ranges across fashion, gifting, lifestyle & home accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Creative Consultant:
o Develop and articulate a compelling creative vision aligned with the
brand\’s identity and positioning.
o Oversee the creation of beautiful and cohesive mood board stories that
inspire and set the tone for collections.
2. Design Oversight:
o Collaborate with in-house designers to refine concepts, ensuring alignment with brand ethos and market trends.
o Provide clear, precise, and actionable feedback to designers to ensure timely and accurate execution.
3. Luxury Expertise:
o Leverage a sophisticated understanding of luxury markets,
craftsmanship, and high-quality fabrics to guide design and production. o Maintain a keen awareness of global fashion trends and how they
intersect with the luxury sector.
4. Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and sales, to ensure creative strategies are integrated into all touchpoints.
o Mentor and inspire the design team to push creative boundaries while adhering to project timelines.
5. Quality Assurance:
o Ensure all creative outputs meet the highest standards of refinement and
sophistication expected in the market.
o Conduct regular reviews of prototypes, materials, and final designs to
ensure consistency and excellence.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a senior creative role within the baby and children’s fashion industry. Good accessories experience.
- Exceptional eye for detail and a strong ability to curate and articulate visual stories.
- In-depth knowledge of high-quality fabrics, textures, and craftsmanship techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team effectively.
