We are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated Product Control Analyst to be based in either our London or Gibraltar office. The ideal candidate will be someone who is looking to develop their own knowledge and grow their career within the industry. This role would suit someone with experience producing P&L's, working with physical products and derivatives who is looking for an opportunity where they can add real value to the team and company.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce daily P&L reports to enable the business to understand and manage commercial & trading performance across Europe.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to review all stock movements to ensure accurate monthly P&L's are produced.
  • Review and check daily physical and paper transactions to ensure they have been posted correctly, and ensure the hedging is carried out correctly each day.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, or accounting experience in a product-based company.
  • Understanding of commodities/bunkering would be ideal.
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude, with the ability to multi-task and respond quickly to changing priorities; able to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to present information in a concise, logical manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build, expand and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular with Excel.
