We are currently working with a PE-Backed Contract Research Organization business looking to bolster their M&A capability with a Director of M&A
This individual drives the M&A individually process by spearheading to the Diligence, Execution and Legal Negotiation.
The ideal candidate for this role will be an individual with 8+ years of experience, a corporate background as well as exposure in a financial advisory (consulting/ investment banking) role.
Experience in house with a Contract Research Organization is a must.
Key Accountabilities Include:
- Responsible for M&A funnel identification and acquisition targets in the UK and Europe and initiation of relationships with potential candidates, advisors etc.
- Building and maintaining contacts with external legal and fiscal advisors
- Supporting the CFO in building business cases to support the M&A agendas
- Leading negotiations, supporting the closing and integration
- Ownership of the communication flow to all relevant internal and external stakeholders during the process from the moment of first contact to completion of the acquisition/merger
Candidate must have Right to work in the EU.
