Position: Biomedical Scientist – Microbiology Banding: 6 Location: Central London Hours: Core hours (preferably someone that can do night shift) Rate: £22.00 – £30.00 p/h Duration: Ongoing Start date: ASAP The Biomedical Science team at Pulse are currently recruiting for Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology to work in a busy NHS Hospital in Central London. We are looking for a Biomedical Scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory’s Microbiology service. What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role? As a Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology, you will also have experience reading cultures, identifying significant pathogens and performing susceptibility testing. You will also be supporting thesenior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service and providing guidance to junior members of staff. Essential Requirements for thisBiomedical Scientistposition: HCPC registration Accredited NHS Microbiology laboratory and competent at reporting results independently NHS laboratory experience of at a band 6 level Preference for both sets of skills – bacteriology and virology – anticipate Note: – We are unable to support or accept applications from candidates who are residents within the Red or Amber list of the Code of practice for the international recruitment of health and social care personnel in England, based on the World Health Organisation (WHO) Workforce Support and Safeguard List . #J-18808-Ljbffr
