The Royal Caribbean Group’s (Talent Acquisition) Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Recruiter. Position is onsite and based in Weybridge, UK. This position works with leaders and HRBPs to execute recruiting strategies for positions across all brands under the RCI banner. The Recruiter is responsible for requisition and candidate management ensuring the effectiveness of the recruiting process, executing sourcing plans, and overall sourcing strategies and providing insight to leadership regarding the talent market as well as seeking out opportunities for continuous process improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for recruiting all positions within the assigned business units outlined above for roles of various levels, which may also include special projects, high volume and emerging talent.
- Works with hiring managers and HRBPs to review and understand the forecasted needs for talent acquisition, as well as responding to just-in-time requests.
- Executes sourcing strategies and methods to develop proactively talent pools that align with both the short and long-term needs of the business.
- Manages own workflow and complies with recruitment SOPs maintaining documentation as per company policies and processes.
- Responsible for evaluating candidates using competency-based interviewing techniques and providing recommendations of best fit candidates to hiring managers.
- May also make hiring decisions for some entry level roles.
- Compiles metrics and prepares various reports that measure the effectiveness of recruiting and staffing processes, as well as sourcing strategies.
- Staying current with current market trends and adjust recruiting approach accordingly.
Skills and Competencies:
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage candidates and managers of different backgrounds and culture.
- Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient at communicating effectively and tactfully across different levels.
- Must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work activities and execute multiple job requisitions simultaneously.
- Ability to take initiative and use sound judgment and decision-making.
Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) year of successful experience in recruiting or human resources.
- Some experience with an HCM or ATS technology.
- Proficiency of computers and Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Knowledgeable in using recruiting automation, web-based technology and communication tools a must.
- Knowledge of accepted human resource practices and all applicable laws governing employment and fair treatment of employees.
- Proven ability to conduct interviews and assess of talent.
- Ability to understand and further the organization’s business objectives and employee performance objectives.
- Minimal travel may be required.
