My client, a high profile, multi-billion dollar AUM global Hedge Fund, are looking to make a newly created HR function hire – EMEA Talent Acquisition lead. This is into the firm\’s expanding London office.
The hire will take ownership for all non-US talent acquisition at the firm, a remit that will be highly visible & autonomous (given that the majority of HR currently sit in the US). A core focus is to develop European sourcing strategy / take ownership of talent acquisition strategy, working with senior business heads to evolve how the firm assess talent coming into the firm, whilst striving for a good mix of early talent and senior talent hiring, which extends to overseeing the London office early talent programme + the development and execution of the lateral talent plan. This is an exciting time to join the firm as they expand their global footprint and build out a best-in-class HR function in its rapidly expanding London office.
Candidates should have 5-10yrs relevant FS experience in ‘talent’, ideally working within an in-house HR function, but we could also consider candidate coming from a recruitment firm or a prime brokerage background. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a pre-requisite. There is also a strong focus on academic profile & any additional industry qualifications.
The role is projected to pay a £150-200k total comp package year one. An excellent benefits package includes a top tier pension & healthcare plan + fully subsidised breakfast, lunch and gym.
