We are currently seeking an experienced Ecommerce Manager to join the busy Head Office Team. Please see below for further details:
Role: Ecommerce Manager
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Head Office, Belfast, BT1
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 0800 – 1630

Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the objective of this role is to take responsibility for a variety of web-based projects, activities and to identify new opportunities for Argento. You will drive brand awareness and maintain brand consistency in line with relevant brand guidelines ensuring our website meet the needs of our customer journeys. You will be responsible for looking after user experience on site including platform optimisation across multiple devices focusing on mobile, A/B testing and assigning tasks to other members of the Ecommerce team.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
· Work with the marketing, purchasing, customer service and distribution teams to identify opportunites, and ways to improve brand presence and drive new customers
· Work closely with the marketing manager; developing digital marketing plans to support online sales
· Working in conjunction with the graphic designer on frontend and backend web development
· Working in conjunction with the digital merchandising & content executive and the purchasing department ensuring that all products are correctly displayed online. This includes executing timely and accurate imports of product and pricing data
· Set up and test website promotions and discount codes, evaluating requests as they come in to ensure requirements are complete and accurate and promotions can be delivered on time
· Responsible for updating all content on the website; including information for other departments
· Maintain an up-to-date and accurate log of live and upcoming website promotions and discount codes across all sites and be prepared to raise potential conflicts with any new promotions or implications of changes to the overall business’ marketing and promotions schedule
· Responsible for all PPC, Affiliate and sub-network activity including Google Ads, Bing Ads and Affiliate Window
· Management of Product, Stock and Customer databases on argento.com
· Maintaining and updating all site frontend code and databases using HTML, JS, CSS and T-SQL
· Monitoring product performance and producing a range of reports, focusing on sales, profit and KPIs
· Working as the key account manager with website provider IRP and other relevant parties
· Implementation of 3rd Party API\’s
· Evaluate approaches & strategies to improve website sales conversions & customer engagement
· Design and develop solutions to meet business functional requirements. Including mobile website
· Develop A/B strategies to enhance and improve customer experience and retention
· Mange SEO strategy
· Platform optimisation across multiple devices, primarily focusing on mobile with a key objective to increase on-site conversion rate
· Managing projects such as site redesigns and new integrations such as payment processors and fulfilment options
· Managing the ecommerce team
Essential Criteria:
· At least 3 years + experience in a similar ecommerce manager role or similar
· Digital marketing / web development or related Degree
· Proven knowledge of online selling platforms and how selling works, having focus on maximising sales across all online platforms
· Previous experience of people management
· Evidence of effective planning, organisational and time management skills
· Excellent attention to detail, with excellent written and oral communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build excellent working relationships with internal and external agencies
· The ability to remain calm and clear headed under pressure and resolve issues
· Experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages
· Approachable and flexible attitude to work
· Ability to work under pressure, within tight deadlines and on multiple projects
· Motivated, pro-active, enthusiastic and friendly disposition
· Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to achieve results
