Advert Learning Assistant (2) (Fixed Term) Stranraer Academy Cluster based at Rephad Primary School Post 1: 27.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year £17,685.57 – £18,777.80 Post 2: 10 hours per week, 39 weeks per year £6,431.12 – £6,828.29 We are seeking capable and enthusiastic Learning Assistants with the desired personal qualities and skills to join the staff team within the Stranraer Academy Cluster at Rephad Primary School learning centre. You will support pupils with additional support needs to overcome barriers to their learning and reach their full potential. These fixed-term posts are until 18/08/2026 and may be suitable for secondment. Applicants should seek agreement from their line manager before applying. Candidates must be educated to SCQF Level 4 (e.g., Standard Grade General, National 4) or equivalent, including Numeracy and Literacy, and have experience working with children and/or young people. Willingness to undertake training is required. Experience working with children/young people with additional support needs and a visit to the Primary Inclusion Hub before applying would be advantageous. Training will be provided.
