Summary of the role:

As a key member of our Facilities team, the Workplace & Facilities Manager will play a vital role in ensuring our offices are safe, efficient, and fit for purposes. This role is central to delivering high-quality, sustainable workplace environments across multiple sites, with a strong focus on project delivery, space planning, and health and safety. You will work collaboratively across internal teams and with external partners to support both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic plans for Diligenta's estate.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading and managing all aspects of workplace and facilities operations across our regional offices
  • Delivering a proactive, sustainable and compliant service across Hard and Soft Facilities Management, including security, utilities and maintenance
  • Supporting and executing space planning strategies to optimise workplace design and functionality, including flexible/hybrid working environments
  • Managing office moves, refurbishments and fit outs from planning through to execution
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation and internal policies, conducting risk assessments, and managing contractor safety
  • Overseeing and reporting on Workplace-related budgets, both Opex and Capex, identifying cost efficiencies and forecasting spending
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as HR, IT, Operations, and Legal to ensure workplace strategies are aligned with business needs.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for external vendors, consultants, contractors and property service providers

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in multi-site Facilities Management and Workplace Planning within a large corporate environment, ideally financial or professional services
  • Strong project management capability with experience delivering office moves and refurbishments to tight deadlines and budgets.
  • Knowledge of building infrastructure systems (e.g. HVAC, UPS), business continuity and security protocols
  • Ability to analyse workplace data, space utilisation metrics, and develop workplace strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and stakeholder management expertise
  • Desirable: IWFM accreditation, AutoCAD or CAFM systems knowledge, degree-level education
