The private hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services including minimally invasive surgery, endoscopy procedures, orthopaedic surgery including spinal treatment and pain management, general surgery including hernia surgery, ophthalmology including eye laser surgery, gynaecology, urology and ear, nose and throat treatments. The role: We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Private Patient Co-ordinator to join our team at the North Downs Hospital based in Caterham, Surrey. This is a busy and demanding role so you will need to be enthusiastic, highly motivated and have a flexible approach to their role to ensure the needs of the service are met. You will have the flexibility to respond to requests from consultants and colleagues and will be able to work under their own initiative. Private Patient Coordinators need to be personable and confident speaking with a wide range of customers including Consultants, medical secretaries and patients with a keen sense of what good customer service entails. This role is multi-faceted and includes not only providing a gold standard of customer care to our private patient cohort but a knowledge of marketing and generation of revenue. Duties includes: Supporting all aspects of a private patients journey at the hospital/outreach facilities. Booking patients for surgery. Providing Quotations to patients for Outpatients and Surgery. Working closely with Consultants & Secretaries. Forming part of a rota to assist lunch time cover on main reception.
