An exciting media organisation in London is looking for a Data Scientist to join them on a new forecasting project.

Based in London, hybrid working, ideally 2-3 days a week in the office (flexible).

6 or 12-month contract. Start date: End of June or early July. £70,000 - £80,000 pro Rata.

The Job:

  • Building forecasting models to track digital content performance.
  • Working with time series data, ideally using methods common in finance or trading.
  • Incorporating NLP where relevant and sourcing external data to enhance models.
  • Using cloud-based tools such as GCP, AWS, and BigQuery.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and clearly presenting data insights.
  • Taking part in a single-stage, in-person interview that includes a live coding task.

You:

  • Strong experience in time series forecasting from finance, trading or logistics.
  • Comfortable working with external data and applying NLP techniques.
  • Confident using cloud tools (GCP, AWS) and BigQuery.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work flexibly in a hybrid environment.
  • Available to start at the end of June.
