What You’ll Be Doing

  • Advising and coaching line managers on a wide range of employee relations matters (disciplinaries, grievances, performance, absence, and ill health)
  • Developing manager capability to handle HR issues confidently, consistently, and compliantly
  • Driving continuous improvement in HR processes, policies, and best practice
  • Supporting the implementation of HR strategies aligned to wider business goals
  • Providing commercially sound guidance that balances people and performance
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture
  • Ensuring all HR advice is timely, accurate, and legally compliant

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years' experience in a generalist HR role
  • CIPD qualification (essential)
  • Proven experience at HR Advisor level (or above)
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and best practices
  • Confidence to deliver clear, solution-focused advice across all business levels
  • A pragmatic, professional, and approachable style
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Exceptional organisation and prioritisation in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative mindset and strong influencing skills
