We aim to create a technology hub for now and the future. About the Role Reporting to the CEO, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of market trends. Responsibilities Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in target markets Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities Provide regular reports on sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics About You We’re looking for someone who is: Organised and solutions-focused, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and priorities. Key Skills & Requirements Proven experience of 5+ years in sales and business development, specifically within the EPOS and hospitality tech/SaaS industries. Please note this is a must to be considered for the role. Strong track record of new business development, with a hunter mentality and experience driving outbound sales. Demonstrated ability to sell software solutions, with an understanding of subscription models and cloud-based platforms. Familiarity with hospitality, QSR, education, stadia, or leisure venues – experience selling into these sectors is highly desirable. Strong understanding of both EPOS hardware and software ecosystems. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience presenting to operational and senior leadership decision-makers. Strong negotiation, commercial awareness, and tender process experience. CRM proficiency to track pipeline, contacts, meetings, or similar. Ability to balance short-term sales goals with long-term strategic sales development goals. Ability to identify, target, and engage potential clients in the stadia, hospitality, education, leisure, and events sectors. Focus on promoting high-margin software solutions, while cross-selling hardware to create value propositions. Proven track record of driving end-to-end sales processes from lead generation, proposals, negotiations through to sale. Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
