The team leaders will be responsible for ensuring that roads across the authority are well-maintained, safe, and efficiently managed. Working closely with the Roads and Transportation Manager, you will oversee key projects, manage budgets, develop staff, and drive performance to ensure excellent service delivery. West Dunbartonshire Council\’s Roads and Transportation team is responsible for delivering the Council\’s key strategic targets related to Road Maintenance and Improvements, Active and Sustainable Travel, Flooding and Flood Risk Management, Structures, Street Lighting, and Road Safety. You will be responsible for managing our multi-skilled road operations team, as well as overseeing Winter Maintenance and significant resurfacing programs to improve the condition of our roads assets. Requirements The successful candidate will have an HND/Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience in managing road operations.
