About The Role At EKFB we’re shaping infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial, and BAM) bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high-speed rail projects. We’re recruiting a Commercial Manager to join our team based in the Buckingham area. This role is specifically focused on contract change. Due to the remote location, we ask that you hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle to commute to and from work. In this role, you will perform both periodic duties and one-off tasks according to deadlines and as directed by the Senior Commercial Team. You will be responsible for developing and delivering the change management strategy. You will provide commercial advice, training, and support to our commercial and delivery teams. Your responsibilities include upstream contract administration such as early warning notifications, compensation event notifications, and quotation preparation. You will liaise with the client and negotiate changes, ensuring compliance with business processes and procedures at all times. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of innovations, processes, and procedures. About Us EKFB is a joint venture combining international expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction, and BAM Nuttall. We have extensive experience in designing, constructing, operating, financing, and maintaining railway networks, including a major high-speed rail project in Europe. We are delivering civil engineering works across an 80 km section of the new high-speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood, including 15 viaducts, 5 km of green tunnels, 22 km of road diversions, 67 overbridges, and around 30 million cubic meters of excavation.
