Station Systems Rail Maintenance Technician – Night Shifts JOB DESCRIPTION When you join our Engineering Team at Telent, you\’ll be empowered to innovate and drive common solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of the impact their work makes. Join a high-performing team performing complex and critical work to build and maintain the nation\’s critical infrastructure connectivity and protection 24/7. The Station Systems Level 3 Rail Maintenance Shift Engineer will work 4 on 4 off night shifts at 4 sites across the HS1 rail network, including St Pancras International, Stratford International, Ebbsfleet International, and Singlewell Depot. Flexibility to support 24/7 site operations during absences and outside normal shift hours is required. Responsibilities: Perform reactive and preventive maintenance on SISS and Telecommunications systems to ensure effective restoration and repair within SLAs. Conduct daily reactive maintenance activities on SISS and Telephony systems. Carry out technical investigations and audits. Execute maintenance activities, both corrective and planned, ensuring compliance with processes and reporting. Monitor systems remotely to identify issues and implement solutions. Candidate Profile: The Maintenance Engineer will perform maintenance on communication systems, including CCTV, PA, CIS, EACS, Servers, and IP Networks, working 4 on 4 off night shifts . Key Requirements: Fault-finding skills with experience using test equipment. Experience with CCTV, IP Networks, EACS, CIS, PAVA Server environments, and copper/fibre cabling. Proven IT skills (Laptop, Office 365). Experience working under SLA-driven maintenance contracts. Full UK Driving Licence.
