We are seeking an experienced Construction / Operations / Project Director with expertise in Facade, Remediation, and Main Contracting projects.
The Company is part of a reputable Principal Contractor in the construction industry, operating throughout London and the Home Counties, offering various specialist services. Services include Fire Remediation, Rainscreen Cladding, Curtain Wall Glazing, Roofing Systems, Windows & Doors, External Wall Insulation. Headquarters based in SE London.
The Role - Head of Operations/Construction/Projects Director - Facade/Cladding: Our client seeks an experienced Head of Operations to lead their Facades & Cladding division.
Preferred Experience: Main contractor experience, particularly within remediation.
The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery. Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the Division Director to ensure projects are programmed and delivered to high standards.
- Overseeing procurement, quality, budget control, and client management.
- Proven technical competency and track record in managing multiple faΓ§ade packages from pre-construction to delivery on flagship projects.
- Developing and monitoring operational systems and processes to track goals, progress, and challenges.
- Managing procurement processes and coordinating resources and materials.
- Overseeing programs from initiation to completion.
- Conducting or overseeing client and subcontractor meetings as necessary.
This role involves 1 day in the office and full-time site work in London.
