Your Purpose

We’re recruiting for a proactive Maintenance Lead to join our fantastic team at Burton Brewery. In this key role, you’ll take ownership of reducing breakdown-related losses and driving maintenance efficiency across the site. You’ll also play a vital part in developing the skills and capabilities of both the line and wider production teams, ensuring we consistently deliver strong performance in line with our Compelling Business Need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the systems for the Line, focusing on Defect Handling, Breakdown Elimination and Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.
  • Support the development of and lead portions of the Line 90-Day Loss-Elimination plans, including the creation and realisation of capex plans in collaboration with the site central capital teams.
  • Drive breakthrough results in Planned and Unplanned Downtime and own the data and accuracy for the line. Project manager the strategy for each individual asset that makes up the line; Breakdown Reduction, Key PM metrics, PM Completion %, Material and Labour, Backlog, Schedule Compliance, R&M Costs and Budget Development and management of the line.
  • Serve as a technical coach and resource or the Line Team and actively participate in the Line meetings and execution of the daily plan.

  • Engineering qualifications including time served.
  • In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Knowledge and experience in the FMCG Industry.
  • Budget Management Experience.
  • Understand Operational Plans.
  • Project Management.
  • Finance and Procurement Processes.
