The Role:
- Design, develop and implement automation systems across manufacturing processes
- Maintain and improve production operations to meet performance and safety targets
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and lead root cause investigations
- Support and lead capital investment (CAPEX) projects from scoping to implementation
- Produce and modify technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD or similar
- Collaborate closely with design, quality and production teams to optimise workflow
- Conduct system testing to ensure successful commissioning of production assets
- Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
The Person:
- Degree-qualified in Engineering or equivalent industrial experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment
- Expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, automation, and PLC controls
- Able to read and develop engineering drawings and electrical schematics
- Proven experience delivering automation or electromechanical production solutions
- Strong analytical, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
