Job Description
IntroCedar is currently partnered with a prestigious, global investment manager based in Central London to help them secure an Interim Fund Controller for their debt investments function. This is a 13-month Fixed Term Contract, offering a salary between £75,000-£85,000 per year.

Their debt investments team manages a complex portfolio of funds and assets, providing innovative solutions to clients across the UK and Europe.
The RoleAs Fund Controller, your key responsibilities will include:
- Oversight of outsourced accountants and external service providers across two debt funds
- Preparation, review, and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual fund financial statements and NAVs
- Ensuring tax compliance (including VAT, withholding, and fund-level tax) and regulatory reporting in line with UK and EU requirements
- Full oversight of the loan book, including monitoring loan performance, covenants, interest accruals, and cash flow
- Managing annual audits, investor reporting, and all key financial processes
- Partnering with the investments team to provide financial analysis, fund commentary, and commercial support for decision-making
Your ProfileYou will ideally have:
- A formal accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- A strong grounding in financial services or real estate, with experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, or similar technical finance roles
- Good technical knowledge of accounting, tax compliance, and regulatory frameworks relevant to funds or investment entities
- Experience managing third-party service providers or outsourced accounting teams is desirable
- A hands-on, proactive approach and the ability to deliver accurate results to tight deadlines
