The role of the Local SEO Executive is to leverage the Google local search landscape and lead activities related to Google products such as Google My Business (GMB) and Local Services Ads (LSA). Additionally, the role involves auditing, monitoring, and implementing Technical Local Paid Search & SEO strategies.
Key Tasks:
- Support the Search Marketing team across SEO, Data & Insight, Paid Search, and Content to deliver priority Organic Search projects globally for Rentokil Initial and its subsidiaries.
- Assist the Digital Projects & Deployment team with the rollout of digital initiatives, including website launches, competitor analysis, B2B campaign optimization, and social media initiatives.
- Develop SEO management processes, best practices, and guides to support colleagues across markets.
- Act as a reliable SEO contact for BAU issues and troubleshooting organic growth challenges.
- Collaborate with Customer Experience, Digital Projects, Account Management, and third-party vendors to implement Rentokil Initial’s Digital Search Strategy.
- Manage organic and local search channels to support leveraging search volumes for conversions.
- Apply strong knowledge of Local SEO, analysis, reporting, on-page optimization, and social media’s role in organic visibility.
- Experience with Google Business Profile and SEO audits is essential.
- Understand and implement SEO best practices, including technical considerations like audits, on-page recommendations, and understanding the local search ecosystem.
- Stay informed about search engine algorithms and their impact on website performance.
- Implement technical SEO changes such as robots.txt, redirects, hreflang, canonical tags, and schema markup.
- Utilize tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs to conduct web quality audits.
