Role Description This is a full-time, field-based role for a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer covering the North West of England and North Wales, with occasional nationwide travel. Key responsibilities include: Servicing, commissioning, and maintaining refrigeration and air conditioning systems (including chilled water, split, and VRF systems) Diagnosing and repairing faults in commercial and industrial environments Attending planned maintenance visits and emergency service call-outs Participating in an on-call rota (overtime paid at double time for out-of-hours work) Training apprentices Reporting on system performance and making recommendations to management Opportunities for ongoing training and development are available Qualifications Excellent understanding of general refrigeration, chilled water systems, split & VRF A/C systems Proven experience as a mobile service engineer in HVAC F-Gas 2079 certification and NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities A full UK driving licence Experience working in commercial or industrial settings Ability to work independently and as part of a team Also Welcome At Industrial Cooling Equipment Ltd, we recruit based on attitude and potential.
