The Role: Reporting to the CTO and working closely with the VP of Digital Health Technology, the Mobile Apps Developer will be responsible for the design and development of applications as part of the Vitalograph Digital Health Platform. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain Android mobile software for Digital health applications. Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components. Design and implement real-time software solutions using C/C++, Java, Kotlin. Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of mobile applications. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mobile applications. Ensure that all work and tasks carried out are consistent and compliant with Vitalograph’s SOPs. Develop and maintain both handheld and tablet Android applications, ensuring that the codebase is optimized and streamlined for both device types, while maintaining consistency and performance across various screen sizes. Collaborating with backend teams to integrate APIs and services effectively, ensuring smooth data flow and app functionality. Minimum Requirements: Computer Science Degree or equivalent engineering degree that includes software development 3+ years in Android mobile applications development. Expertise in C/C++, Java, Kotlin Experience launching apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store Experience with git source code control, code review tools, etc Favourable Skills: Experience with the Microsoft technology stack, which includes .NET Core, Web API, and SQL Server.
