We are the UK's leading chambers of medico-legal experts. We offer our services to law firms in personal injury, clinical negligence, employment law, criminal and private law matters. The role would suit applicants who are looking to work in a Company that is rapidly expanding.
Role Overview:
- Managing a caseload of pre-action and litigious medico-legal matters on behalf of our medical experts and our clients
- Ensuring that all of our experts are aware of key dates including Court timetabled dates and Court listed hearing dates
- Corresponding with clients via email and telephone
- Uploading new instructions on to our bespoke file sharing platform
- Indexing, paginating and extracting relevant documents/medical records for experts to review
- Adhering to data protection regulations and laws at all times
- Completing additional ad hoc tasks when requested
Person Specification:
- Must have an understanding of both the civil and criminal legal justice systems; experience in a clinical negligence role ideal
- Ability to work independently
- IT literate: Excellent knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems (training will be given as necessary for all company bespoke systems)
- Must have an eye for detail
- Experience of speaking to clients over the phone and corresponding by email
- Driven and self-motivated
- Being able to work to sometimes tight deadlines
