Project Brains is supporting a global digital transformation initiative for the worldβs largest independent bottler of major CPG brands. The client operates across 29 countries with 79 plants and is pioneering a strategic Digital Twin platform for manufacturing.
We are looking for a Technical and Functional Consultant β Manufacturing SME (IT-OT) to lead the design and implementation of a Digital Twin platform across 50 production lines. Based in London with a hybrid working model, the role requires 15β20 years of experience in manufacturing process design, IT-OT integration, and digital transformation within the CPG industry. You will work closely with site stakeholders to gather and standardise requirements, model process flows, and define architectural components that align with KPIs such as OEE, yield, and sustainability.
Responsibilities include:
- Running workshops
- Translating plant needs into use cases
- Supporting design of simulation logic and data models
- Validating system behaviour with SCADA/MES interfaces
Travel to sites (20β40%) is expected.
Qualifications:
- 15β20 years of functional and technical experience in Process Manufacturing, ideally within the CPG sector
- Deep expertise in IT-OT integration, ISA-95, and Digital/Autonomous Manufacturing
- Strong domain understanding of bottling lines, SCADA/MES systems, and plant operations
- Excellent communication, executive presence, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management
- Bachelor's degree required
- Native/fluent English; based in London
