Harnham are working with a boutique research consultancy, who combined with their quant and qual services, utilize their in-house subscription service to provide actionable insights and recommendations to some of the biggest names brands across the media, music and technology sectors. This is a great opportunity to work with elite clientele and develop skills across mixed methodologies. The successful candidate will contribute to the team’s wider thinking, brand development and all-round culture and work life.

THE ROLE:

As a Research Consultant (Music) you will have the following responsibilities:

• Work across a variety of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, including designing and run in-depth interviews
• Run small sized projects from end to end, getting the chance to manage your own client relationships
• Support in delivering debriefs to clients and other senior stakeholders
• Help mentor more junior members of the team and assist with their professional development.
• The position will cover conducting research and analysis, preparing and presenting project outputs, and project management
• Be a primary point of contact for clients

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The Research Consultant (Music) will have:

• 5+ years of experience in a consulting or research environment
• Experience and a good understanding of the music industry or the wider entertainment industries
• Proven consulting project management skills: ability to lead projects end-to-end
• Proven track record of using multiple research techniques: interviews, surveys, secondary analysis
• Strong data analysis skills, using MS Excel
• Advanced presentation and reporting skills using MS and Google suites
• Strong creative problem-solving and ability to apply concepts, models & frameworks
• Ability to synthesise large amounts of data and information into actionable insights
• Solid business writing and thought leadership – blogs, reports, white papers
