Job Description This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gas Trading professional to join a new gas trading team backed by a global integrated oil business. The role involves working closely with team members to develop and manage the optimisation of its gas trading portfolio across Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing in-depth gas market analysis, focusing on European gas markets, production, and supply infrastructure. An understanding of the European policy landscape affecting the future of gas in Europe is essential. You will provide fundamental analysis, model development, and scenario analysis, collaborating with team members within the Gas Trading and Business Development departments to develop and execute trading strategies, analysis, and pricing of structured trading arrangements to enhance profitability. Responsibilities include: Develop and execute the company’s pan-European Gas Trading strategies to maximize profitability across NBP, TTF, THE, PEG, ZTP, and PVB. Monitor European natural gas markets to identify trading opportunities. Develop and implement trading strategies to capitalize on market dynamics.
