Do you have experience of working in a finance role which supports a range of projects focusing on upskilling and getting people back to work? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Employability Bridgend programme that tackles the barriers that prevent individuals thriving in the labour market. You will need to be enthusiastic and motivated and have a good understanding of Local Government Financial Procedures, experience of submitting financial claims to funding bodies, as well as ensuring a keen eye for compliance checking.
You will be working in an ambitious, fast-moving and dynamic environment where flexibility is the key to our success. The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post. Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
