Day to day as a Optometric Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and manage appointment schedules to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
• Assist in preliminary eye exams by performing vision tests and gathering patient histories.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
• Engage with patients, providing information and support regarding their eye care needs.
• Work closely with optometrists, assisting in various procedures and documenting findings accurately.
• Maintain a balanced schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
