A highly regarded law firm in Bristol is looking to welcome a talented and well-rounded Property Solicitor or Associate into their close-knit and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in residential conveyancing, and ideally, some exposure to commercial property matters, who is seeking a long-term role where quality of service is genuinely prioritised.

The Role

Working within a collaborative and forward-thinking department, you’ll manage your own caseload of residential and light commercial property matters, ranging from first-time purchases to portfolio transactions and small business leases. This varied role offers genuine autonomy while also providing opportunities to develop client relationships, support junior colleagues, and contribute to the wider business strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing a mixed caseload of residential and commercial property files.
  • Advising a wide variety of clients – from individuals to local businesses.
  • Building relationships with clients, agents and referrers across the region.
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to a collaborative working culture.
  • Participating in business development and networking initiatives.
  • Staying on top of legal updates and best practice in conveyancing and property law.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer (circa 2–5 PQE ideally).
  • Experience managing residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion.
  • Some exposure to commercial property work (or a keen interest in developing this skillset).
  • A hands-on, personable approach – particularly suited to those from a high street or regional firm background.
  • Strong client care, communication and organisational skills.

Why Apply?

This role would suit someone who enjoys the variety of a dual residential and commercial caseload, and who thrives in a personable, down-to-earth environment where long-term client relationships matter. You’ll have the chance to grow professionally in a team where your contributions are valued, and progression is based on more than just billable hours.
