This role is ideal for a professional who can design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to groundbreaking cloud initiatives and shape the future of our organisation\’s digital transformation on Azure Responsibilities Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures on the Azure platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements, translating them into effective Azure solutions. Guide the development team in best practices for cloud-based application design, ensuring adherence to Azure architectural principles and guidelines. Stay current with Azure services and industry trends, driving innovation and continuous improvement in our cloud offerings. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing. Preferred Education Bachelor\’s Degree Required Technical And Professional Expertise Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale cloud applications, preferably on the Azure platform. Deep understanding of Azure services and familiarity with key components like Virtual Machines, Storage, SQL Database, Logic Apps, and more. Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and patterns, and experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and serverless computing on Azure. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex systems, identifying areas for optimization and improvement. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Technical And Professional Experience Experience with containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes on Azure. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates. Knowledge of data engineering and experience with Azure data services like Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, or Event Hubs.
