The CBHC Clinician provides evidence based treatment as part of a multidisciplinary team. Working with others on the CBHC team, you will deliver solution-focused clinical interventions and treatment for clients and families. Responsibilities Provide side by side therapy and interventions to individuals and families that are evidence based, focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement. Provide therapy interventions in the office, virtually, in the community and in client’s residence based on client preference, client need, and at the clinical direction of the Team. Participate in daily Team Huddles and Team Meetings including completing documentation prior to meetings. Complete NOMS assessments as assigned, clinical assessments, and other documentation required to meet CBHC/Eliot standards. Ensure that each individual is actively involved in their treatment planning process and their preferences are embraced. Provide individual therapy to assigned clients and/or families within the context of the CBHC Team, treatment plan and EBPs approved by Eliot/CBHC policies and procedures. Provide targeted therapy to individuals including but not limited to CBT modalities targeting symptoms, DBT, PE, CR, EMDR, FST, TF-CBT, CAMS, family therapies, integrated dual diagnosis treatment, self-management plans, and other clinical interventions. Participate in diagnostic evaluations, screening assessments/tools, outcome measures, and crisis planning. Provide immediate interventions related to acuity and work with individuals and staff members to ensure that acuity is responded to in a timely manner, to include increased interventions, or changing interventions and providing direct clinical support to individuals and staff. Ensure the safety of individuals; implementing crisis intervention as necessary. Includes but not limited to; use of de-escalating modes of communication/ interaction to ensure Individual’s safety, stability, mental status, and physical health. Establish effective working relationships with clients and utilizes solution-based interventions which best address specific problem areas as identified in the client’s treatment plan; relates well to diverse client population; displays good judgment; and in collaboration with clients, formulates and implements focused treatment plans that identify measurable goals and timeframes for completion. Qualifications Requires a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Rehab Counseling, related field or is licensed at the independent level in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; or a Doctorate in Psychology from an accredited university/college and licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Strong diagnostic skills, competence in crisis intervention, ability to develop short term interventions to support clients/families, and engagement strategies Must be able to quickly establish rapport with wide range of clinical presentations. Knowledge of the vast array of community resources and how to access them. Salary Masters only: $65,000 Licensed: $70,000 6% salary increase for bilingual candidates fluent in needed language.
