Formula 1 covers a huge range of disciplines across a wide array of industry sectors, drawing the very best from our teams of technicians, engineers and media rights specialists and encouraging the creativity of experts in the fields of digital and traditional media, marketing and communications. We are recruiting for a Graphics Designer for our Commercial Media team who would be based at our Biggin Hill office. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create branding packs and in situ mock-ups of circuit signage for Formula 1 race events.
  • Create and produce print-ready artwork files.
  • Work with sponsors to determine the most suitable artwork for their trackside branding.
  • Create animations for LED screens.
  • Maintain brand libraries and client artwork, adding assets into a content management system.
  • Quality control of design projects.
  • Be creative, actively coming up with new ideas for projects.
  • Support the Commercial Producer’s with all race preparation and special projects.
  • Build content, and control the LED screen playlists during the live broadcast.
  • Working some race weekends, along with additional hours when required.

Specification Essentials:

  • 5 years experience in designing and producing digital and print graphics.
  • BTEC National Diploma or Degree in graphic design or other art/design related discipline.
  • Proficient with Adobe CS software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects).
  • Able to visualize creative concepts.
  • Good understanding of design principles.
