Local Business Development Manager - North East

Overview Local Business Development Manager – AUDI North East Tyneside AUDI Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm (40 hours per week) We are excited to recruit an ambitious and experienced Local Business Development Manager to join our friendly team. Do you have a passion for sales and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing B2B customers? Are you self-motivated and able to achieve sales targets and increase revenue in your territory? If yes, please read on! Lookers is part of the AUDI Fleet and Business Programme. Your role as a Local BDM involves working with the brand and prospecting local businesses in North and South Tyneside and surrounding areas, following the brand\’s specific Fleet & Business Programme requirements. You will report to the Head of Business, Kevin Wardrop, with support from Shelley Hood, the Group LBDM Manager, who has over 20 years of industry experience. You will be part of a team of 35 Local Business Development Managers, ensuring you have support and resources. Responsibilities Increasing revenue and achieving sales growth by working towards targets and objectives. Managing full sales cycles: identifying prospects, negotiating, and closing deals. Following sales best practices and reporting on all sales activities. Maintaining strong relationships with B2B customers and effectively selling our premium products. Being proactive and innovative to benefit the team and business. Collaborating with the national LBDM team representing our brands. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a dedication to excellent B2B customer service, and a passion for the motor trade industry. Enthusiasm, drive, and motivation are key to achieving results. Previous experience in a similar role and within the motor trade is preferred but not essential.
