As a UX Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our digital products. You will work closely with the Senior UI Designer to lead the design team, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience that aligns with our brand and business goals. Your expertise in user research, interaction design, and usability will drive the development of intuitive and enjoyable digital experiences for our users.

What You’ll be doing:

  • Partner with the Senior UI Designer to lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

  • Define and implement UX design processes and best practices to ensure high-quality and consistent design outputs.

  • Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design decisions.

  • Develop user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts and solutions effectively.

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the feasibility and seamless implementation of designs.

  • Advocate for the user’s perspective throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring user-centred design principles are upheld.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design.

  • Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind design choices.

  • Ensure all designs adhere to relevant accessibility standards and guidelines.

  • Proven experience in a senior UX design role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of user-centered design projects.

  • Proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of user research methodologies and experience conducting user research.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts clearly and persuasively.

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

  • Degree in Design, Interaction Design, or a related field is preferred.
