The IT Support Analyst will report directly to the Group Head of IT and will be responsible for providing timely and effective desktop support to all staff via the company helpdesk system. Key duties include managing hardware assets and software licenses through IT systems, as well as generating relevant reports. A strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (including Teams), Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 11 and above), Sophos Central, and other common office applications is essential. The business utilizes a wide range of IT systems and solutions, all of which the analyst will be expected to support. The role also involves assisting remote staff using VPNs and other remote access tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and deploying IT assets in accordance with company policies and standard configurations. Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills are critical. The ability to manage and prioritize support requests effectively, while maintaining a focus on business needs, is essential to succeed in this role.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven customer service experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft desktop operating systems (Windows 11)
- Experience with network infrastructure setup and configuration
- Enterprise AV system support
- Enterprise encryption support
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and associated tools
- A valid driver's license to travel between MacTaggart Scott locations as needed
