Great opportunity to work for an established business in a newly created team with modern offices with a views of Farnborough Airport. The Operations team are the hub of the business, supporting day to day operations, maximising efficiency and being the valuable connection between the clients and the teams servicing the work. The Controller will oversee daily requirements, and schedule teams to ensure the highest service is delivered. Effective communication is key, with the ability to clearly disseminate information throughout the company. The Role Is Worked On a Shift Basis 4 Days On 4 Days Off 06:00 – 18:00 or 10:00 – 22:00 Flight Operations ControllerBenefits Free Parking Pension Enhanced overtime rate Life Event Day Off EAP Discounted gym membership Enhanced Sick Pay Life Insurance 2 x Salary Flight Operations ControllerResponsibilities Deal with client enquiries, create quotes and process orders. Liaise with clients regarding scheduling and to confirm their agreement to the scope of work. Plan the work and schedule the engineers on a daily basis. Keep up to speed with factors that may require changes to client bookings which change mean last minute changes to schedules. Follow up on all outstanding requests for quotes Plan and coordinate work/team, to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effective delivery Ensure all administration processes and procedures are completed accurately and on time. Ensure that H&S and Compliance Documents are processed quickly and efficiently. Liaise with Managers regarding sickness absence which may impact work schedules. Report completed work to the customer Essential Personal Attributes For The Flight Operations Controller Must enjoy the benefits of working a 4 day shift rotation and be able to work the shift patterns above which include weekends and bank holidays. Must have aviation experience Experience of planning, logistics, scheduling or operations essential. Interest in or experience of working in the aviation sector. Excellent attention to detail and confident communicator Good customer liaison experience. Ability to work under pressure in a time critical, changing environment Must be willing to undergo a DBS check Basic level MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Teams experience advantage but training can be given.
