Forward Role are supporting a well-established and highly regarded retail business with a strong omnichannel presence and a reputation for investing in people and digital innovation. As part of their continued digital expansion, they’re now hiring an SEO Executive to join their growing, super-friendly & close-knit Digital Marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in SEO who’s ready to step into a fast-paced, collaborative environment where their work will make a measurable impact!
The Role:
- Sitting as part of a large, internal Digital team, the SEO Executive will help execute and optimise the brand's organic search strategy.
- You’ll act as the key point of contact for the SEO agency and work closely with internal teams across digital content, PR and development.
- From technical audits to metadata optimisation, you’ll be deeply involved in ensuring the site ranks effectively and organically attracts high-quality traffic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the day-to-day contact for the SEO agency, aligning on strategy and KPIs, working closely alongside the Digital Manager.
- Conduct keyword research, support campaign planning, and optimise product and landing pages.
- Collaborate with PR and content teams to support outreach and digital PR campaigns.
- Coordinate implementation of technical and on-page recommendations across the website.
- Monitor and report on rankings, traffic performance and SEO KPIs using GSC, GA and other tools.
- Take ownership of local SEO efforts (Google My Business and Bing Places), delivering regular audits and improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 12 months hands-on SEO experience, either in-house or agency.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices across technical, content and outreach.
- Experience using key SEO and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Competent in Excel and highly detail-oriented.
- Proactive and organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities.
