They are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer / Applications Engineer to help develop concepts, costings, and stay updated with new technologies through R&D and trials with suppliers developing their products and technology. The ideal candidate will develop into this role as their knowledge and experience grow. It would suit an electrical engineer with design and controls experience. No hybrid or remote working is available. The Role Manage a varied project workload involving multiple simultaneous projects, such as automotive, food industry, and logistics projects. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary concept design team. Collaborate closely with key suppliers like Siemens, Rockwell, Allen Bradley, ABB Robots. Carry out site surveys. Requirements The role is suitable for an Electrical Design Engineer, Automation Engineer, or Controls Engineer. An engineer or technician from an automated materials handling or robotics company is suitable. HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
