We are recruiting for a Graphic Designer to join our team on a fixed term contract for 12 months at our Head office in Colburn, North Yorkshire.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing and impactful designs that adhere to brand guidelines and support the company’s marketing and communication goals. This includes designing materials for digital and print media, collaborating with internal teams on creative projects, and ensuring brand consistency across all marketing materials. Additionally, one day per week will be allocated for general marketing administration, including supporting the team with tasks such as email management, organising materials, and assisting in campaign planning.
The role and responsibilities:
- Design and produce visually appealing content for brochures, magazines, banners, email signatures and Mailchimp templates.
- Administrative tasks relating to design and events.
- Proactively suggest new creative ideas and insights.
- Create engaging graphics for social media platforms collaborating closely with internal departments as required.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a Graphic Designer or creative role.
- Must have experience in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- WordPress for website updates and content management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work with external printers and publication managers to obtain and compare prices for printing, signage, and promotional merchandise.
- Excellent multitasking abilities, balancing multiple design, marketing, and administrative tasks simultaneously.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on maintaining brand consistency in all materials.
