Job Title: Operations Analyst
Must have 3 years of experience as an Operations or Support Analyst in UK non-domestic natural gas supply and so have experience of some of Xoserve, GES, Switchstream, Smart, Gemini, CSS and DCC.
Location: 3-4 days a week attendance at Central London head office.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to gas supply chain operations.
- Develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards to monitor performance metrics.
- Identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement in operations.
- Identify and analyse data issues, then develop and implement solutions to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
Process Improvement:
- Conduct thorough analyses of existing processes and workflows.
- Create streamlined and automated data-related operations, such as the creation of user interfaces that connect with these systems, by utilising automation tools, APIs, and AI.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with operational goals.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on operational performance.
- Develop and maintain operational models to forecast and plan for demand.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
Project Management:
- Support operational projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
- Prepare project documentation, including plans, timelines, and status reports.
Customer Service:
- This is a partly customer facing role, liaising between customers and our account management team to address and resolve operational issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction.
- Analyse customer feedback and incorporate it into operational improvements.
Desired Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as an Operations Analyst or in a similar role in commercial gas supply.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and experience with business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to gas supply is preferred.
Working Conditions:
· 3-4 days a week in Central London head office.
- May require occasional travel to meet with stakeholders or attend industry conferences.
- International Travel maybe required – Valid Passport is Required.
