We have a vacancy for a receptionist/administrator , working with a friendly reception team. We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic additional member of staff to join our team, providing a high-quality site administration and call handling service. Experience in a similar role is essential as you will be required to work autonomously. Full training will be provided. Hours will be between 08:30 – 16:30, Monday to Friday. About the Organisation Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit recognises the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans, and military families bring to our business and encourages people from the armed forces community to apply. Applications from at-risk CSU employees will be prioritized in line with CSU policy. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for staff raising issues and concerns regarding buildings. Monitor and manage the Reception and CSU Estates inbox, action requests, and arrange repairs through Connect (NHS Property Services online Helpdesk). Provide high-quality site administration and call handling services. Assist in managing the day-to-day building and facilities management of Leyland House, making autonomous decisions in the absence of the Estates Manager. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Fire, and Security regulations. Process incoming and outgoing mail. Maintain stock levels of stationery using the ordering system. Monitor room booking systems, ensure rooms are tidy and prepared, and support meeting facilities including video conferencing equipment. Record destruction of ID badges returned to Reception. Scan incoming mail to relevant teams and print outgoing patient letters. Support with photocopiers, scanning, and minor fault repairs. Ensure office confidential waste bins are emptied and checklists signed by contractors.
