The client is currently expanding its presence across Europe and is seeking a seasoned European Sales Manager to drive new business and strategic growth across the region, with a particular focus on credit unions, building societies, and mutual banks.
Position Overview
The European Sales Manager will be responsible for leading business development and consultative sales initiatives across multiple European markets. This role goes beyond standard SaaS sales, requiring an individual with deep knowledge of financial services, experience navigating complex stakeholder environments, and a track record of closing enterprise-level deals. A key focus will be on institutions operating under cooperative or mutual models. The successful candidate will bring a multilingual, multicultural approach to engaging with clients across diverse regulatory and operational landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle sales processes from prospecting through to contract execution across target European markets
- Build and maintain relationships with credit unions, building societies, and mid-tier financial institutions
- Develop and implement region-specific go-to-market strategies
- Work closely with internal teams including solution consultants, product specialists, and leadership to craft compelling, client-specific proposals
- Represent the company at relevant financial services conferences, roundtables, and industry events

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in enterprise-level B2B sales within financial services or financial technology
- Proven success in consultative sales environments, ideally with experience selling platforms, digital solutions, or transformation programs
- Prior engagement with credit unions, cooperative banks, or building societies is highly desirable
- Fluent in English; additional fluency in Spanish, French, or German is strongly preferred
