In partnership with the MOD, the Maritime Project is currently delivering DII(MD) & OpNET solutions onboard Royal Navy & Royal Auxiliary Vessels in timescales considered very challenging. The role to be undertaken will require a wide experience in all areas of industry hardware products including CISCO, DELL, APC. In addition, a working knowledge of Microsoft and VMware is also essential to implement various customer solutions (from factory to vessel). In addition, be able to customer face and present Fujitsu in the best possible manner. Critical Skills Required: Experience of building virtualised datacentres from a baseline assured solution and supporting documentation. Experience in Service / Incident Management (BMC Remedy) Network background with experience of Switch/Router/Firewall configuration. CCNA/CCNP desired. Technical capability Windows Server & Administration Tools (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Certs, PKI), Windows 10 Experience in Microsoft technologies: SQL, Exchange, Skype, SharePoint, WSUS Experience in VMware technologies, including: ESX & vCenter, NSX, Horizon (VDI), App Volumes Experience in following technologies: KeePass, SolarWinds, Veeam, Trend PowerShell scripting knowledge. Configuration of Thin Clients & Peripherals (Amulets, Printers, Scanners) Update firmware versions of all type of hardware (UPS, Servers, SANs, Switches) Strong analytical, technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience of Linux. Exposure to Bulk User Provisioning and Data Migration Exposure to Configuration Management Exposure to Test and Assurance principles Mandatory Skills Required: General Knowledge and experience of Microsoft & VMware Technologies Experience of operating within a team environment Security Cleared to SC level or above, willing to progress to higher level of clearances Systems / Software Engineering background including all aspects of the solution lifecycle. Understanding of Low-level Engineering Documentation & Test Scenarios.
