Aircraft Engineering Services are looking for a HR Officer to support the HR function across the UK & Poland at our offices at Hangar 10, Stansted Airport. The successful candidate will be dealing with a broad range of HR issues and will help support the full HR function. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and motivated individual to advance their career within a dynamic and fast-paced airline environment. You will gain valuable experience in a range of HR topics including employee relations, recruitment, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the recruitment and selection process for the UK & Poland
- Onboarding including issuing contracts & 5 year background checks
- Provide HR support for the employee review process
- Taking notes and representing HR at meetings, including Annual Appraisals, Review Meetings and Disciplinary procedures.
- Collating payroll data in terms of salary changes, adjustments & expenses
- Monitor employee absence to identify trends & complete return to works
- Ensure recordkeeping and data processing procedures comply with GDPR requirements
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures
- Supporting staff with any HR queries as and when they arise
- Producing weekly reports for the HR Manager & Company Directors
- Ensure compliance with Employment laws and the update of policies & procedures
- Any additional duties as required from the HR Manager
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Officer
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
