To support our production and warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team.
Location: Caltech – Solway Mills, Silloth
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with warehouse operations, maintaining hygiene and good practice.
- Prepare and assemble packaging materials in line with production schedules.
- Support the warehouse team during absences and peak periods.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety procedures.
- Operate and maintain forklift trucks and sweepers (daily checks required).
- Liaise with the Plant Controller to manage daily tasks and priorities.
- Provide general support to production teams as needed.
What you need for the role:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Forklift truck driving experience (license preferred).
- Awareness of health and safety practices.
- Positive attitude and effective interpersonal skills.
