Advanced Specialist Paediatric Dietitian Are you a dietitian passionate about working with children and young people? We have an exciting opportunity for a band 6 or 7 paediatric dietitian (see related vacancy: 448-CCYP-7236067, based on skills and experience) to join our friendly and supportive team of community paediatric dietitians. The post-holder will have extensive experience in paediatric dietetics and will provide valued services supporting children and young people with various conditions in the community. Clinical work will include virtual clinics (telephone and video conferencing), face-to-face clinics, and school/home visits. Virtual work can be done remotely or from a chosen base. You will be encouraged to participate in regular clinical supervision, team meetings, and develop evidence-based guidance and resources for families and professionals as needed. The post involves a clinical role within the Dietetics team in the Children’s Services Department. The postholder will provide outpatient clinics for conditions such as food allergy and intolerance, gastrointestinal issues, faltering growth, and selective eating, covering Cambridgeshire as needed. Depending on experience and service needs, they may also manage home enteral feeding patients. The postholder will support the development and maintenance of standards, guidelines, and evidence-based practices within the Children’s Dietetics Department, and will drive innovations to improve service efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring patient-centered care aligned with policies and initiatives.
