The Role
As a Technical Services Consultant, you will:
- Answer internal and external enquiries regarding the specification of ARDEX/Building Adhesives products and deal with any problems experienced in their use
- Produce letters/case reports dealing with problems experienced on site either following a visit to site or from a site report by one of ARDEX UK Limited/Building Adhesives Limited Sales Representatives
- When required visit sites throughout the British Isles and/or overseas, to deal with specifications or problems. This may involve giving practical demonstrations of the products on site
- Review and aid where recommendations and specifications are required
- Provide technical support and/or innovative ideas for the Commercial team
- Ensure that all generated literature meets with the timeline and requirement of the Company’s Product Working Group
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a professional who is:
- Experienced: A minimum of 3 years in a technical role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Knowledgeable: Familiarity with a wide range of construction products and their applications.
- Skilled: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and comfortable using CRM systems (training available).
- Customer-Focused: Able to deliver outstanding service and resolve challenges efficiently and professionally.
- Detail-Oriented: Has a keen eye for accuracy and outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 or above).
Strong problem-solving, organisational and interpersonal skills.
